Ulster Town Clerk Jason Cosenza announces that the town transfer station will be opened on Wednesday, Aug. 31 and Thursday, Sept. 1 from 7:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., in addition to its normal operating schedule. This is to accommodate the public with the recent storm. Permits are still required for trash, but branches will be accepted for free without a permit. It is suggested that you keep a receipt for any junk and debris removed relating to storm and flooding.
